Backups

Game servers are automatically backed up every 6 hours to external storage. You can also create backups manually.

Manual backup

“Backups” tab → “Create backup”. You can list files to skip, e.g. logs:

logs/
cache/
*.log

Restoring

1. Stop the serverRestoring while the server is running can corrupt the world.
2. Choose a backupOpen the menu next to the backup → “Restore”.
3. Start it againWhen it's done, check the console and start the server.

Local copy

You can download any backup to your computer. Before major changes (version upgrade, new modpack) it's worth keeping a copy outside the hosting too.
