Server software, version & Java
We support versions from 1.7.10 up to the latest 1.21+ and the Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Fabric and Forge server software.

Which software to choose
| Software | Best for |

Java version
Change the Java version (8–22) in the “Startup” tab → Docker image. Match it to your game version:

Changing the version

Back up firstUpgrading to a newer version updates your world and can't be undone without a backup. Downgrading usually breaks the world.
